In 2001, Krisilyn Frazier established a relationship with dance that was nothing but satisfying "I didn't find a home in dance it found a home in me." Ever since starting Dance 4 Unity she has been using her gift of dance and choreography to spread to others. While teaching at WCC she has been also dancing for an international hip-hop group named Dance 2XS at the University of Michigan. Being a part of this group has enhanced her abilities greatly and has given her a chance to work with professional choreographers who have been affiliated with artists such as Aalyiah, Missy, Bad Boy, Mistique, and more. In the summer of 2004, she studied under U of M dance program and with professional choreographers while starting Street Funk Dance Troop. The goal of Street Funk is to develop a dance company and over the next five years expand it at community college's all over the U.S. Attending the U of M dance program in the fall of 2004, Krissy traveled with Patrick Chin and experienced the life of a professional dancer. She is trying to get her B.F.A. "My goal is to become a professional choreographer and dancer for the entertainment business and to one day teach dance to blind and deaf kids."
